Piazzetta Santa Maria Soprarno is a small square surrounded by some of the most beautiful, and unexpected, sites in Florence. It’s also the birthplace of the “Cantina Del Gelato”. From here you can enjoy views of the Uffizi, the Vasari Corridor and Ponte Vecchio while you enjoy our ice cream. Made using tradition methods and high quality, natural, ingredients, we have a combination of both popular and creative flavours: Caprino and Walnut, Vinsanto and Cantuccini, Sicilian Pistachio, Chocolate, Tahitian Vanilla, and fresh, seasonal fruit.
The cantina is also known for its milkshakes, and juices and smoothies which are made from 100% natural fruit pulps imported from Brazil – there is no added sugar or preservatives, and they are rich in vitamins, minerals and natural antioxidants: among these are West Indian Cherry, Guava, Caja and Passion Fruit.
Another speciality of the “Cantina del Gelato” is Acai Na Tigela, also originating from Brazil, which is a smoothie made from Acai, Banana and Guarana syrup – a great source of energy and consider the Fruit of Life in Brazil.
